Flyers2 flew past Daryll Matthew’s Ottos Clippers by 64 points in the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association’s (ABBA) Second Division league on Monday.
TShawn Lewis shot a game high of 21 points to lead Flyers2 to their emphatic 97-33 victory over Ottos Clippers in their Zone 2 affair in the first game of a double header at the JSC Sports Complex.
Lewis was supported by Javonte Daley with 20 points, Adrian Carnegie with 15 points and Craig Massiah with 12 points. Michael Gunthropes scored 9 points while Etienne Davis scored 7 points for Ottos Clippers.
Rebels prevailed 63-59 against All Saints Slam in their Zone 1 match-up in Monday’s second game. Buel Henry sank 18 points and Tyndale Telemaque converted 16 points for Rebels.
Keady Martin scored 16 points and Kim Casey netted 10 points for All Saints Slam.
There were wins for Cutie’s Ovals Young Guns, Spanish Heat and Jan Serv Fearless Crew2 when the Second Division resumed at the at the JSC Sports Complex on Sunday following the holidays.
Cutie’s Ovals Young Guns were 75 – 47 winners over Wadadli Elites2 in their Zone Z encounter.
Delornie Jules scored 15 points and Judah Ferris had 14 points for Young Guns while Orion Seraphine had 16 points for Wadadli Elites2.
Spanish Heat was too hot to handle as they steamrolled Young Warrior Ballers 115 – 59 in their Zone 2 affair.
Stephen Matthews shot a game high of 31 points and Antonio Cruz scored 16 points for Spanish Heat.
Juran Jarvis sank 20 points and Andrew Simon converted 17 points for Warrior Ballers.
Fearless Crew2 prevailed 64 – 60 over Cutie’s Ovals Superiors in their Zone 1 match-up.
Cairon Marcel had 18 points for Fearless Crew2 and Michael Jeffers also scored 18 points for Cutie’s Ovals Superiors.
The ABBA Second Division will continue with a Zone 2 double header at the JSC Sport Complex tomorrow evening.
Cuties Ovals Young Guns will take on Caribbean Pharmaceuticals Fearless Crew1 at 6:45pm and Daryll Matthew’s Ottos Clippers will meet Wadadli Elites2 at 8:30pm.
