No improvement in victim’s condition

The man who was shot multiple times at a bar in Willikies on Sunday night has not
shown any improvements in his condition.
According to Inspector Frankie Thomas, the man remains in the Intensive Care
Unit at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre where he is receiving medical care for
three gunshot wounds.
“The victim’s condition remains ‘unstable’ based on the reports that the police
have received from the hospital. His condition has not changed, however, our
investigations into the circumstances that led to him being shot are still under
active investigation,” Thomas reported.
He said the police are conducting an aggressive campaign in trying to identify the
person involved in the shooting. “We continue to search for the alleged perpetrator
of the crime. At the same time we are continuing our investigation into the matter,”
Thomas stated.
Thomas is inviting members of the public who may have information related to
this case to come forward and provide that information to the police. He said the
police will be providing regular updates to keep the public informed as additional
information comes to hand. So far, the police have not revealed the identity of the
victim.
