AGHS, PMS maintain winning run in schools’ netball

The Antigua Girls’ High School (AGHS) and Princess Margaret School (PMS) continued their winning form in the Cool and Smooth Inter-Schools Netball League at the YMCA Sports Complex on Monday, 13th February.

The Antigua Girls’ High School beat Clare Hall Secondary 22 – 6 in one of five games in the 16 and Under division.

Joy Shaw scored 19 of her 36 shots and Sarah Allen sank 3 of her 8 tries for Antigua Girls’ High while I’Jahnae Isadore converted 5 of her 7 attempts for Clare Hall Secondary.

Princess Margaret School recorded two wins beginning with a thrashing of St. Mary’s Secondary School, 17 – 0.

Kadejah Alexander scored 9 of her 16 tries and Jahida Payne sank eight of her 12 attempts for PMS.

Princess Margaret also prevailed 7 – 3 over the Glanvilles Secondary School.

Jahida Payne scored 4 of 7 attempts for Princess Margaret while Micah Thomas converted 2 of 6 shots for Glanvilles Secondary.

Glanvilles Secondary rebounded to beat St. Mary’s Secondary School, 15 – 4.

N’Zee Williams sank 10 of 16 attempts for Glanvilles Secondary while Tajaeh Matthew scored 2 of 8 attempts and Zadaire Parker scored 2 of 10 tries for St. Mary’s Secondary.

There was a win as well for Irene B. Williams who prevailed 16 – 5 over Clare Hall Secondary.

Myah Thomas converted 10 of 14 shots and Kadisha Henry scored 6 of 14 attempts for Irene B. Williams. E’Tanja Roberts sank 4 of 17 tires for Clare Hall Secondary.
