The 25-year-old Willikies man who was injured during a shooting incident on June
4, has died.
Jafari Isaac was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 am on Tuesday, June 13,
after spending just over a week in the Intensive Care Unit at the Sir Lester Bird
Medical Center.
Isaac’s death brings the number of homicides for the year to two.
The police have two men in custody, who are persons of interest, regarding the
incident that led to Isaac’s death.
A STRATCOM release said the police are continuing their investigations into the
matter.
