The screening of the young ladies who will participate in the 2023 Queen of
Carnival Show has been completed.
However, the public will have to wait a little longer to know the identities of the
seven young women who have passed the screening process in preparation for the
competition.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Creative Industries said the contestants will have
a formal announcement of their names at the official launch of carnival, slated for
April 15 at the Rising Sun Grounds.
The activities surrounding the launch will include a street jam starting at 2:00 pm,
to be followed by the launch starting at 6:00 pm.
