On Tuesday, Prime Minister Gaston Browne took several students from the Villa Primary School on a tour of the Point Community Hydroponics facility on Lower North Street.

The students got the opportunity to learn about the dynamics of Hydroponic farming and its importance to sustainable food security.
PM Browne explained that local farming also guarantees healthier food options in the local economy.
At the moment, the community-based farming facility produces approximately 700 heads of lettuce which will be used to provide food to support the Villa and Point feeding programme, The Soup Kitchen, and members of the community.
