The annual Antigua Trade and Labour Union/Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party
Labour Queen show takes place on Saturday May 4 at the ‘Home of Labour’ the
People’s Place on Nugent Avenue.
The contestants will make appearances for judging in the following categories;
interview, speech, swim-wear, talent and evening wear.
The nine delegates and the constituencies they represent are;
ï‚· St. John’s Rural East – Shermain Eustache
ï‚· St. Paul – Deneka Dublin
 St. John’s City South – Shanakay McDonald
ï‚· St. Paul – Kenesha James
ï‚· St. John’s City West – Nevaeh Greene
ï‚· St. George – Nechel James
ï‚· St. John’s City West – Dominique Trotman
ï‚· All Saints West – Aliyah Wayne
ï‚· St. John’s Rural West – Eddenya Aska
The contestants have been engaged in an intense series of practice sessions over
the past several weeks which ramped up to daily practices during this week. The
venue for the show has already been prepared with the stage and lights already in
place.
The Labour Queen show has been a feature of the annual Labour Week activities
organized jointly by the AT&LU and the ABLP.
