CBH announces fogging schedule

The Central Board of Health is stepping up its campaign to control the spread of
the disease-causing aedes aegypti mosquitoes with planned fogging in selected
communities during this week.
In a media release the department said the fogging exercise forms part of its
Mosquito Control Programme and will this week concentrate on communities
across Antigua.
The fogging starts as early as 4:30 in the mornings and conclude at 4:30 in the
afternoon. Monday, fogging took place in Blue Waters area, Flagstaff, Lower
Ottos, Nut Grove, Bathlodge and Bendals.
Today Tuesday, the CBH officers will conduct the fogging in Hodges Bay,
Jabberwock area, Royal Gardens, Sea View Farm, Freeman’s Village, Lightfoot
and Gunthropes.
Paynters, Weir’s Estate, Fitches Creek, Pigotts as well as Longfords, Mount
Pleasant and Cedar Grove are all scheduled to have their fogging done on
Wednesday.
A full schedule of communities are also listed for Thursday and Friday’s
scheduling of fogging.
