As the nation approaches the annual period of remembrance for those who fell in World War II, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) has announced the sale of Remembrance Poppy Pins from September to November 2026. This initiative supports the Antigua and Barbuda Ex-Servicemen Association and provides an opportunity to honor and remember the men and women from Antigua and Barbuda who served during World War II, as well as all those who have served in the defense of our nation and beyond.
The poppy remains a powerful symbol of remembrance, representing the collective commitment to ‘Lest We Forget.’
“We invite organizations and their staff to support this meaningful initiative by purchasing a poppy pin for $10.00. We would greatly appreciate your organization’s support in helping us keep the spirit of remembrance alive. Whether through individual purchases by your staff or a larger organizational contribution, your participation will help support the work of the Ex-Servicemen Association while ensuring that the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten,” an ABDF statement said.
The ABDF looks forward to support and partnership in making this year’s Remembrance observance meaningful. For purchases and delivery, please feel free to reach out via email or call (268) 724-4914.
