Caribbean Journal readers have voted Antigua and Barbuda as a top destination for honeymooners.
After the votes were tallied, Antigua and Barbuda was recognised as being the Best Caribbean Honeymoon Destination and having the Best Beach in the Caribbean, Valley Church Beach.
The country also performed outstandingly in the Best Family Resort in the Caribbean category with The Verandah, Antigua snagging the title.
The annual Caribbean Journal Travelers’ Choice Award asks its readers to vote for the top Caribbean destinations across several categories.
This year’s Travelers’ Choice Awards honoured champions in 24 different categories of travel, from hotels and resorts to honeymoons and weddings to rum bars, with more than 125,000 votes cast.
“Participation for this year’s Awards was higher than ever before,” said Guy Britton, managing editor and EVP of Caribbean Journal. “It’s a good omen for what should be a banner 2023 for the whole Caribbean.”

There were also awards for best cruise line, small cruise line, meeting destination, restaurant, and port in the Caribbean, among others.
