On Sunday evening, police and the family both confirmed that contact had been made with the 29-year-old Swetes woman.
Jowana’s family became concerned for her safety after she left home to go to Liberta last Wednesday but never returned home.
She was not seen or heard from after that point.
A family member reported her missing at the All Saint Police Station on Saturday after their efforts to contact her, by telephone and other means, failed.
Following the public notices for information about her whereabouts, it was reported that she was located.
No details have been released about Jowana’s whereabouts in the three days that she was out of contact.
Police say they are still investigating the circumstances of her disappearance.
