Police have confirmed that the man who was shot multiple times in Grays Farm Sunday evening has been pronounced dead at hospital. He has been identified as 24 year old Kieron Hutson, also known as ‘Cracker’ of Yorks.
He was reportedly approached by an armed man who opened fire on him on Christian Street shortly after 7:30. The Emegency Medical Services arrived on the scene within six minutes of receiving the call. Emergency Medical Technicians found a faint pulse and began administering CPR while rushing him to the hospital.
His close relatives were informed of his death a short while ago. A motive for this first murder for 2024 has not yet been ascertained. Police have launched a high-level probe, and are asking anyone with information to contact the CID at 462-3913.

MAN SHOT IN GRAYS FARM
A man has been rushed to the hospital after being shot in Grays Farm. Police are now on the scene in the area of Christian Street where the shooting took place shortly after 7pm.
The circumstances which led to the shooting are not immediately clear however ABS will provide an update when further information becomes available.
