Winning starts for Sea View Farm and El Hombre in ASCFL

Sea View Farm and El Hombre made winning starts to their campaigns in the All Saints Community Football League (ASCFL) on Tuesday evening.

Sea View Farm snatched a 3-2 victory against Attackers in the first game of a double-header at the Mack Pond playing field in All Saints.

Shamoi Andrew scored in the 30th minute to give Sea View Farm a one-nil halftime lead.

Michael Stowe snatched an equalizer for Attackers with a conversion in the 37th minute. Attackers took a 2-1 lead in the 55th minute when Wilton Rhodes converted a penalty kick.

However, Jaheem Sheppard produced two late strikes to snatch victory for Sea View Farm. Sheppard scored Sea View Farm’s equalizer with a 65th-minute conversion.

Sheppard then scored his second goal of the match in the 70th minute to snatch victory for Sea View Farm.

El Hombre launched their campaign with a 3-0 victory against Overdose in the second game of Tuesday’s double-header.

Kemoi Walsh opened the scoring with a third-minute conversion to give El Hombre a one-nil halftime lead.

Two late goals by Courtney Clarke in the 68th minute and Dia Martin in the 71st minute wrapped up victory for El Hombre.

The All Saints Community Football League will continue with another double-header on Thursday (today).

Overdose will take on the Attackers at 6:15 pm, and Freeman’s Village will clash with Yorkshire at 7:30 pm.

Like last year, 12 teams, which are divided into two groups of six teams, are contesting the All Saints Community Football League.
