Former government senator, now diplomat, Caleb Gardiner, is taking up a new assignment following his posting at the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in London.

Gardiner, whose leadership qualities were recognised by senior members of the Gaston Browne Administration, will take up the role as Third Secretary at the High Commission, headed by High Commissioner, Karen-Mae Hill.

Last Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held at brief send-off ceremony for Gardiner where led by Foreign Minister, E.P Chet Greene, speaker after speaker offered him words of congratulations and best wishes as he embarks on this new journey in what could be a career and life-changing assignment.

During the exercise, Minister Greene and Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Dr. Clarence Pilgrim both presented Gardiner with parting gifts on behalf of the staff of the ministry.

Caleb Gardiner’s journey is a powerful testament to purpose-driven leadership. From serving as Guild President at the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus to becoming an inaugural member of the United Nations Youth Advocacy Group for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Caleb has consistently used his voice to uplift others.

His appointment as one of Antigua and Barbuda’s youngest Senators marked a bold chapter of advocacy for youth, education, and good governance. Through countless community initiatives, he remained grounded in service.

Now stepping into his role as a diplomat, Caleb continues to represent his nation with passion, proving that true leadership begins with heart and a commitment to people.
