The Venezuelan embassy is this week returning to in-person teaching of Spanish
language classes at its Old Parham Road location. The classes resumed on Monday
and will continue on Wednesday.
An embassy spokesman said approximately 40 students are attending the classes in
three levels; beginners, intermediate and advanced.

“Within the framework of the celebration of 25 years of the Bolivarian Revolution,
we resumed face-to-face Spanish classes at the IVCC. This opportunity served to
highlight the achievements of the revolution and the impact of unilateral coercive
measures on Venezuela,” an embassy social media post stated on Monday.
The classes will run from 5:50 to 7:30 Mondays and Wednesdays.
The in-person classes were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During that
time, the classes continued online.
