Don’t Wait for the Ground to Shake—Be Prepared! That’s one of the messages coming from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre ahead of a webinar that will examine seismic activity and earthquake preparedness.

“With Antigua experiencing over 20 earthquakes in less than a week, The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus is hosting an urgent public webinar on seismic preparedness,” a notice from the university stated.

This event is presented in collaboration with the UWI Seismic Research Centre, NODS, The Guild of Students, and Students of MGMT3089.
