Two young cricketers leave for studies at Harrow in the UK

Sports Minister Daryll Matthew was on hand on Monday to give an official send-

off to two young cricket prospects who traveled to the UK to take up studies at the

prestigious Harrow School.

One student – Matthew Miller will undergo a six-week training at the school that

has produced some of England’s top cricketers.

The other – Melique Jacobs – will be at the school for a six-month training period

as part of an exchange progrmme with Harrow Cricket Club.

Minister of State Sen. Dwayne George was also on hand to assist with the official

send-off.

The Ministry of Sports has been seeking out opportunities for further development

for some of the nation’s top young athletes and sportsmen and women.
