The Antigua and Barbuda Investment Authority is pleased to announce the launch

of the Organization of American States Women’s Economic Empowerment

Formalization Toolkit. The Formalization Toolkit is an online guide which

provides access to women entrepreneurs to online resources to assist in the

business formalization process.

The Formalization Toolkit is an initiative of the Economically Empowered Women

for Equitable and Resilient Societies Women’s Economic Empowerment funded

through the OAS Executive Secretariat for Integral Development.

The Formalization Toolkit an online practical guide for women entrepreneurs on

how to formalize their businesses and navigate the institutional systems required to

complete the process. The Toolkit outlines the step-by-step process of how to

register a business name and provides information on the various Statutory

requirements. The Toolkit is a component of the online Clearinghouse portal.

qMOLmjiUOzAxw and it is open to women entrepreneurs. The Toolkit forms part

of an ongoing project targeted to assist women-owned and women-led businesses

in providing the necessary resources which address the distinctive concerns of

women in business and those future businesswomen.

The Authority takes this opportunity to invite all women entrepreneurs in Antigua

and Barbuda to actively engage in accessing the online Formalization Toolkit and

exploring the opportunities presented for further and future development of women

in business.
