Antigua and Barbuda’s table tennis standout Stuti Kashyap continues her impressive international run, capturing the silver medal in the U17 Girls Singles at the WTT Youth Contender Caracas held at the Gimnasio de Tenis de Mesa “Elizabeth Popper Francisco Lopez”.

In a thrilling tournament run, Stuti showcased resilience and world-class skill:

  • Quarterfinal: Edged India’s Prisha Goel in a five-set thriller (3-2)
  • Semifinal: Defeated Venezuela’s Nathacha Dennys Mata Aponte 3-1
  • Final: Fell short to Trinidad & Tobago’s Chloe Fraser in a tight 0-3 battle (scores: 6-11, 10-12, 9-11)

At 16 years old, Stuti continues to punch above her weight, consistently proving herself against older and more experienced opponents. This silver podium finish adds to an already stellar 2025 campaign and reinforces her No. 1 ITTF Americas ranking in the U17 category.

Next Up: U19 Challenge Begins July 3

The competition doesn’t stop here—Stuti returns to action on July 3 as she begins group-stage play in the U19 Girls Singles, aiming to deliver another powerful performance and continue climbing the world rankings.

The Antigua and Barbuda Table Tennis Association (ABTTA) celebrates Stuti’s continued excellence and thanks the local and international community for their ongoing support of her journey to the top.
