It has been brought to the attention of the Ayre Group that an article circulating in the public domain contains allegations attempting to connect its Chairman, Mr. Calvin Ayre, to Wirecard.

Mr. Ayre has never had any involvement with Wirecard and has never had any dealings with, and has never met, any of the senior executives or employees of the company.

Neither Mr. Ayre, nor, to his knowledge, any of his businesses have ever used Wirecard to make payments or have ever held accounts there. Nothing in the Wirecard criminal complaint indicates, in any way, any wrongdoing or impropriety on the part of Mr. Ayre or any of his companies in connection with the Wirecard embezzlement allegations.

In deference to the legal proceedings currently underway in Germany, Mr. Ayre is not prepared to make any further statements at this time.
