Tuesday 29th January, 2019-Sports Minister Daryl Matthew is seeking the assistance of the Attorney General’s Office to protect athletes from sexual predators.
Minster Mathew says athletes’ safety must be guaranteed at every sporting venue across the country, while revealing a worrying issue that he says must be addressed, one of sexual predators lurking around sporting facilities.
While admitting the problem is not unique to Antigua and Barbuda, the sports minister is adamant that there is no place for it here.
Minister Matthew concluded that those who know those people and are condoning what they do are equally guilty.
