The semi-finals line-up was confirmed in the All Saints Community Football League after the last encounter in the preliminary group stage was completed on Tuesday evening.
Yorkshire came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory against Soccerama champions Stoneville in the final Group B encounter at the Mack Pond playing field in All Saints.
Joshua Samuel gave Stoneville the lead when he opened the scoring with a 14th-minute conversion.
But Yorkshire, who played the match with nine men, hit back to draw level when Daniel Bryan struck the equalizer in the 26th minute.
Tyrik Hughes snatched the winner for Yorkshire with a 52nd-minute conversion.
With the top two teams in each zone qualifying for the semi-finals, the result meant that Yorkshire missed out on advancing to the final four knockout stage.
Last year’s runners-up, Police, clinched the second qualifying spot from Group B into the semi-finals on goal difference.
Police, Ovals, and Yorkshire all finished with seven points from five matches. Fundamental claimed the other semi-final sport as winners of Group B with 12 points.
Darg A Bark and last year’s third-place finishers, El Hombre, claimed the other spots in the semi-finals from Group A.
Darh A Bark finished as Group A winners with 13 points from their five matches, and El Hombre clinched second place with 10 points.
Darg A Bark was slated to clash with Police in the first semi-final on Wednesday evening. Fundamentals and El Hombre will face off in the second semi-final on Thursday evening.
Twelve teams, divided into two zones, contested this year’s All Saints Community League.
