Thursday 31st May, 2018 –As the national clean-up campaign continues throughout the country, there are reports that approximately 2000 tonnes of garbage have been collected.
The clean-up began last Saturday and is spearheaded by the National Solid Waste Management Authority.
Environment Minister Molwyn Joseph says the clean-up campaign is the most comprehensive ever to be undertaken in Antigua and Barbuda.
Bulk waste pick up will continue on June 9th – All Saints West, All Saints East and St. Luke
June 10th – St. Phillips North, St. Phillips South, St. Paul.
Coastal clean-up will be on June 2nd and on June 3rd, litter picking and inland/community cleanup.
