Pringle returns as UPP Political Leader

Opposition Leader, Jamale Pringle has consolidated his hold on the opposition
United Progressive Party with a convincing victory over fellow parliamentarian,
Richard Lewis during the party’s convention on Sunday.
Reports are that Pringle secured a total of 237 against Lewis 173 votes.
The lead up to the convention election created much interest with what many
thought was going to be a close race between Lewis and Pringle…in the end
Pringle won by a comfortable 64 votes.
