Port Manager Darwin Telemaque has announced a major development in the project to redevelop the Cargo Port at Deep Water Harbour. The old warehouse has now been demolished signalling a new phase as the project gathers momentum. The redevelopment of the cargo port is set to significantly improve the country’s maritime commerce and position the country as a major hub in the Eastern Caribbean. It is being bankrolled by a loan from the People’s Republic of China.
