The case against the policer – Sgt. Karim Warner – for shooting with intent has been adjourned in the Magistrate’s Court.

The case has been plagued by several delays, but the court has now determined that a prima facie case has been made against Warner. His attorney has since filed a number of submissions before the court to which the prosecution has responded.

The court named June 13 as the date when it will give its ruling on the defence’s submissions.

Warner is charged with discharging his weapon at an individual with whom he had a dispute over payment for the rental of a vehicle.
