Members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will be celebrating their 53rd anniversary of Police Week under the theme: “Working Together to Achieve Stability in Times of Uncertainty, Police Week 2021”

This year’s week of activities will run from September 5th to 11th, and will be celebrated virtually due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. The celebration starts with church service on Sunday 5th September. Officers from different departments will be joining with selected churches across Antigua and Barbuda to worship with their congregation. Throughout the week, police officers will appear on the various media to highlight the events of the week and interact with the general public.

Commissioner Rodney said the theme is quite fitting, as it encapsulates what is currently happening around the world. He further stated, “Understanding each other and continue working together will help us achieve peace and stability, even among the uncertainties of life.”

He encourages his officers to remain true to their oath of office, and live up to the core values and code of ethics of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. Mr. Rodney also expresses gratitude to the general public for the support they have shown the police force over the years.
