The police are currently carrying out an investigation into a shooting incident in Bendals on Tuesday afternoon where a silver motor vehicle was seen parked at the side of a road with what appears to be multiple bullet holes.

Police spokesman, Inspector Frankie Thomas, confirmed the reports of the shooting but up to early evening on Tuesday, he was unable to say whether or not anyone was injured during the incident.

Video footage of the vehicle has been shared multiple times on social media. The vehicle is seen with visible bullet holes on the front windshield, and the driver’s door.

Inspector Thomas has indicated that he will provide additional information as soon as it comes to hand.
