The last two competitions for the 2025 Antigua Commercial Bank (ACB) Parish League will commence this week.

After the completion of the Dave Joseph Limited Overs Championship, which was won by PIC Insurance Liberta Blackhawks, and the Sir Richie Richardson Limited Overs Championship that was captured by Freetown, the Sir Vivian Richards Thursday League will commence on June 19.

The Thursday League, now in its 45th year, is a T20 competition, while the other three Parish League competitions are of a 30-over-per-side duration.

This week’s Thursday League will bowl off with three matches, which will all start at 2:30 pm.

Reigning two-peat champions the Rising Sun Spartans will begin their title defence against the Jennings Tigers at the Rising Sun playing field in St. John’s.

The Liberta Blackhawks will face Police at Ball Beef in Liberta, and the New Winthorpes Lions will clash with Mahico at Clare Hall.

Umpires Keller Joseph and Calvin Thomas will officiate at Rising Sun, Melissa Lawrie and Dirk Schouten will umpire at Liberta, and Dalis Adams and Tasillo Allen will be in charge at Clare Hall.

Matches in the Curtly Ambrose one-day contest will commence on Saturday.
