Old Road wins Under-17 Division in Antigua Cup

Old Road dethroned 2024 champions Bath United of Nevis to capture the Under-17 Division of the Antigua Cup International Youth Football Tournament.

Old Road clinched the title by snatching a one-nil victory against Bath United in the final at the Buckley’s Primary School playing field on Friday.

National under-17 forward Greg Williams scored the lone goal to finish with a tally of four goals in the competition.

But defending champions Bath United enjoyed success in the Under-15 Division, notching up a 3-0 victory against Lion Cub. Malik Freeman scored twice, and Eliab Dickenson converted the other goal for Bath United.

Attackers also pulled off a 2-0 victory against Freeman’s Village in the Under-15 Division. Jayden Russell scored both goals with conversions in the 10th and 19th minutes for the Attackers.
