The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), in partnership with the University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus, officially launched the OECS Environmental Sustainability Exhibition Monday at the UWI Five Islands Campus in Antigua.
The opening ceremony welcomed key stakeholders, students, and members of the public. Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph was in attendance and available to engage with exhibitors and visitors, highlighting the importance of environmental resilience and sustainability within the Eastern Caribbean.
The Exhibition, running from April 28 to April 30, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, showcases innovative technologies, interactive environmental education tools, and virtual reality experiences designed to raise awareness and promote environmental stewardship across the region.
The Exhibition is made possible through the collaboration of the OECS, the European Union’s Global Gateway initiative, BioSPACE, and COMES12, bringing together a wide cross-section of organizations dedicated to sustainable development.
Visitors are encouraged to take part in the Exhibition to discover cutting-edge solutions for climate adaptation, conservation efforts, and environmental sustainability.
Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend and participate in shaping a greener, smarter Caribbean future.
