Defending champions Bath United of Nevis and Old Road claimed their second win in the Under-17 Division of the Antigua Cup International Youth Football Tournament on Wednesday.
Following their victory over debutant Freetown Ballers, Bath United snatched a 2-1 win against Buckley’s United at the Buckley’s Primary School playing field.
Jaheel Hazel and Lindel Abraham scored for Bath United, while Najae Morton had a conversion for Buckley’s United.
After launching their campaign with a one-nil win against Attackers, Old Romped claimed their second win with a 5-0 drubbing of Freetown Ballers.
National Under-17 forward Greg Williams struck twice, while the other goals were scored by Adonai Lee-Francis, Jquan Shoy, and Ajabe Rae.
Cutting Edge recorded their second win in the Under-13 Division. After launching their campaign with a 9-0 drubbing of host Young Warriors, Cutting Edge notched up a 3-0 victory against Bath United, who suffered their second loss in as many games.
Kiran Cordice scored twice, and Tamorey Henry had the other conversion.
Cutting Edge also made a successful start to their campaign in the girls division. Irreissa Allen scored a hat trick to propel Cutting Edge to a 6-0 victory against the Young Warriors in their opening encounter.
Abigail Simmons, Sharakrah Toulon, and Karima Toulon each converted once for the Cutting Edge girls team.
