The Ministry of Works is celebrating the progress it has made in its road construction and repair programme and the impact this is already having in several communities.
The Ministry has posted a message on its social media page noting, ‘Progress in motion!’ indicating that September saw intensive infrastructure improvements continuing across dozens of communities island-wide.
“Behind every road upgrade were countless hands at work — our concrete plant batching overtime, quarries running at full capacity, dedicated truck drivers, skilled engineers, committed contractors, and resilient road crews all making this consistent progress possible,” the post read.
The ministry said it is looking forward to sharing details very soon about the upcoming upgrades to All Saints Road, and to several other highways included in the next phase of the road works revolution.
“Sincere thanks to Hon. Maria Browne, Ministry of Works leadership, our dedicated team members, C.O. Williams and all our contractor partners,” the post concluded.
