Mia Mottley Wants Review of Travel Regulations
Tuesday 19th June, 2018 –The Barbadian prime minister has joined her Antiguan counterpart in calling for a review of regulations governing air travel that are contributing to a decline in regional travel.
Mr. Browne told a Caribbean Development Bank Seminar on Air Transportation Competitiveness and Connectivity in Grenada last month that changes to certain regulations were necessary if there is to be an upswing in travel.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the 65th OECS Authority, Prime Minister Mia Mottley says some of the existing regulations simply “Make no sense”.
The region’s newest prime minister also spoke on the importance of OECS heads addressing inter-island travel.
