After several weeks of training, the newly formed Library Senior Citizen Club (LSCC) has successfully staged two in-house competitions among its members.
President of the Antigua and Barbuda National Domino Association (ABNDA) Carol Faye Bynoe recently conducted several weekly training sessions with the members of the LSCC at the National Public Library in St. John’s.
The competitions were held so the members, many of whom had no prior experience of playing domino, could demonstrate and implement some of the skills and knowledge they would have learnt at the recent training sessions, which were conducted by Bynoe.
The members of the LSCC were divided into three teams to test their newly acquired skills against each other. The three teams are Blessings, Warriors, and Overcomers.
The first competition was won by Blessings, Warriors came second, and the Overcomers finished in third place.
The second contest was won by the Warriors, with Blessings finishing second, and the Overcomers taking third place. The teams were presented with medals, courtesy of Cool and Smooth.
