Antigua and Barbuda’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Karen-Mae
Hill has been named by the Diplomat Magazine as the Ambassador of the Year for
the North Americas and the Caribbean.
The magazine issues awards to members of the diplomatic community, residing in
the UK. The award is handed out annually to members of that country, based on
the various regions of the world that are represented.
The magazine describes itself as a leading publication that provokes intelligent
discussion from the heart of the diplomatic community and has an audience of 185
government representatives in the UK.
High Commissioner Hill is not only accredited to the UK but also serves as the
ambassador to several European Union countries.
She has been singled out for her work as one of the nation’s most outstanding
overseas representatives.
