Halo Foundation presents air conditioning units to the Girl Guides

The Antigua and Barbuda Girl Guides organization has been the recipient of two (2) brand new air conditioning split units presented by the Halo Foundation, the charitable organization where the Governor General, Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Williams serve as patrons.

At a presentation ceremony this week, Lady Williams presented the units to the Deputy Chief Commissioner, Marcia Persaud, who accepted the gift on behalf of the Girls Guides, during which she thanked the Halo Foundation for always being willing to assist, whenever possible, to the progress, the activities and the upgrade of the equipment of the Girl Guides of Antigua and Barbuda.
