Friday 13th April, 2018 –The government through Governor General Sir Rodney Williams has expressed appreciation to the numerous countries and organizations around the world that have contributed to the country following the passage of Hurricane Irma.
Sir Rodney pointed out that it was in such a crisis that Antigua and Barbuda identified its friends and developmental partners.
From the UK to China, Cuba, Venezuela, countries near and far contributed in cash and resources.
Today’s Throne Speech also highlighted the successes of the government and its plans for the year ahead in health, education and sports among other areas.
