Global Ports Pledge to Keep Cruise Industry Afloat
Tuesday 19th February, 2019-The Chairman of Global Ports Holding PLC Mehmet Kutman has described the agreement with the government to manage the cruise facilities as one of the toughest negotiations they have undertaken.
Speaking for the first time publicly since the agreement was inked; Kutman apologized on his company’s behalf for not engaging the general public, which has led to much skepticism in some quarters.
He stated the company when bidding for cruise ports adopt a holistic approach, whereby everyone benefits, unlike cruise companies.
The Global Ports Chairman has pledged to join with the government in keeping the cruise industry in calm waters.
