Gareth Walker of Ottos has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison in connection with firearm-related offences.

The 44-year-old was formally charged with the unlawful possession of one .45 pistol and the unlawful possession of five (5) rounds of matching ammunition.

Last week, the police issued a wanted bulletin for Walker. He later surrendered himself to the police at the Police Headquarters on American Road, shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9.

He appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason on Tuesday and was remanded into custody until May 19. The charges are linked to an incident that occurred on Friars Hill Road on March 20, 2025 during a traffic check.
