The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and the nation of Antigua and Barbuda are mourning the passing of former Police Commissioner, Edric Potter, who died at his home on Thursday.
Commissioner Potter served the force in many capacities prior to his appointment as COP in 1990. He was at one time head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police.
His tenure as COP lasted until his retirement in 1995.
Acting Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers has extended condolences to the family of the former commissioner, and indicated that he will be in touch to discuss arrangements for his ‘final rest’.
