First burial at Tranquility Park set for today

The Ministry of Health has announced that the first burial at the newly established Tranquility Park Cemetery will take place on Monday (today), September 1, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at a church beginning at 2:00 p.m., after which the burial will follow at Tranquility Park. The exact time of the burial cannot be guaranteed, as it will depend on the duration of the funeral service.

The name of the individual who will be the first to be interred at the new cemetery has not been disclosed.
