The Ministry of Health is encouraging young people involved in business enterprises to apply for funding provided by Nestle and managed through UNESCO.

The initiative is being directed through the UNESCO Youth Programme which has announced the launch of the UNESCO x Nestlé “Youth Impact: Because You Matter” Global Youth Grant Scheme. Supported by Nestlé, the initiative will fund 100 youth-led projects worldwide.

Applications are now open for youth-led projects that lessen the impacts of climate disruption and ensure environmental sustainability. This includes youth projects to develop:

  1. Climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies,
  2. Sustainable food systems,
  3. Regenerative agricultural practices and
  4. Packaging sustainability innovations.

Eligible project leaders are aged 18 to 30 years from diverse backgrounds and regions. 100 grants of $8,500 each will be awarded, and grantees will receive training, mentoring and networking opportunities throughout the implementation of their projects.

You will find the application form here: https://unesco.nestleyouthentrepreneurship.com/

Note that applicants will need to register to Nestlé’s Youth Entrepreneurship Platform to apply. Applicants will need to apply until 8 April, 23.59 Central European Time.
