The police have formally charged 19-year-old Elohim Bloodman of Perry Bay in connection with an attempted robbery at a convenience store earlier this week.
Bloodman is charged with Assault with Intent to Rob and Attempting to Use a Firearm in Furtherance of an Offence. It is alleged that on October 6, 2025, he armed himself with a gun and assaulted a woman with the intent to rob her.
A wanted bulletin was issued for his arrest, and he later surrendered himself to the police.
The accused is expected to appear before the court to answer to the charges.
The Police Administration commends the swift action of the police and reminds members of the public that unlawful possession or use of firearms will not be tolerated. Anyone found in violation will face the full consequences of the law.
