Courts Opens Second Optical Store

Thursday 8th November, 2018-Courts Optical has launched a second branch with the aim of catering to those in need of eye services.

The ceremony to mark the occasion was held at Courts on Lower All Saints Road yesterday (November 7th) with Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, the honourable Molwyn Joseph in attendance.

Minister Joseph congratulated Unicomer and Courts Optical for their partnership which will ensure that anyone, irrespective of their financial position benefit from quality eye care products.

The glasses being offered by both Courts Optical on Friars Hill Road and Lower All Saints Road are water repellent, grease repellent. They also come with glare protection and anti-scratch technology.

Minister Joseph noted that the Government of Antigua and Barbuda continues to focus on improving eye care in the country and he is pleased that the patients will now be able to get their eye glasses on hire purchase.

Residents who need eye glasses and have a prescription will be offered a 24 month plan, while persons in need of sunglasses will be offered 12 months to complete their payments.

Minister Joseph has made an appeal for discussions to be held so an agreement can be made to benefit the people of Antigua and Barbuda. This he said can be made through a partnership between the Government, Unicomer and Courts Optical.
