Some twenty communicators drawn from both the public and private sectors are attending a two-day workshop designed to sharpen their communications skills.
Organised and facilitated by Samoya Kirby, a media practitioner with many years of experience and knowledge, the workshop is being held under the theme; Elevated communications for communicators.
The workshop is taking place at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Institute at Dutchman’s Bay. Kirby has invited other media professionals to make presentations on specific subject areas. For example, Information Technology specialist, Elijah James, spoke on The Age of AI and Marlon Jeffers who assisted participants with practical on-camera presentations.
Kirby said it is her intention to launch her own media consultancy and that the workshop is the first venture along this path.
