Antigua and Barbuda’s Christopher Terry, who now resides in the Maldives, has again been nominated for Chef of the Year in that country.
“This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a win for Caribbean chefs and Antiguans everywhere. I am proud to say that I am the first Caribbean chef to receive such a nomination, and it fills me with immense pride to represent my roots on this global stage,” Terry stated in a social media post.
He describes the nomination is a humbling reminder that hard work truly does pay off. “First and foremost, I thank God for blessing me with the talent and strength to excel in my career. To my family, friends, employer, colleagues, and all those who have supported me—thank you for your unwavering encouragement.
Let’s proudly raise our flag and showcase our talent to the world,” he added.
Terry is inviting residents to vote for him in his quest be named Chef of the Year.
