The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) has announced that Community First Co-operative Credit Union (CFCCU) will sponsor the upcoming Hospitality Job Fair, scheduled for this Friday at the Multipurpose Exhibition and Cultural Centre.

The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to supporting not only career development but also financial stability within the tourism sector. By joining forces, ABHTA and CFCCU are underscoring the role of financial empowerment as an essential pillar of professional success for both jobseekers and current hospitality workers.

Craig Marshall, Chairman of the ABHTA, welcomed the partnership, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Community First Co-operative Credit Union as a sponsor for the Hospitality Job Fair. Their partnership highlights the importance of financial wellness for all individuals working in hospitality. The ABHTA remains committed to supporting our hospitality partners not only through job opportunities but also by ensuring they are empowered to build strong financial futures”.

Community First Co-operative Credit Union views the job fair as an opportunity to directly engage with hospitality employees and prospective workers on financial planning.

Lenora Murphy, Chief Operating Officer of CFCCU, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership.

“We at CFCCU are excited to partner with the ABHTA on this initiative. Financial wellness is the foundation for personal and professional growth, and we are eager to work closely with partners in the hospitality sector to ensure employees are equipped with the tools and knowledge to achieve financial security and success.”

Attendees of the job fair will have the opportunity to visit CFCCU at booth #33, where financial advisors will be available to provide personalized guidance and resources tailored to hospitality professionals.

The ABHTA extended its appreciation to CFCCU for its sponsorship and reaffirmed the organisation’s dedication to nurturing both the professional and financial wellbeing of Antigua and Barbuda’s hospitality workforce.

The Hospitality Job Fair is expected to draw a wide range of participants, offering opportunities for employment, training, and financial empowerment.
