The weekly meeting of the Antigua and Barbuda Cabinet, the nation’s highest decision making body, will take place on Thursday, rather than today, Wednesday, its usual time.

In a media release, the Cabinet announced that its final meeting for the month of July will run from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday following which the Cabinet will take its annual summer break.

This means that the meeting of parliament that was scheduled for Thursday has been postponed until a new date in August to be announced.

The public was previously invited to attend the sitting. That invitation will be offered again when the new date is confirmed in August, according to the Cabinet release.
