Marcko Inc. Buckley’s 3Js won their final match in the preliminary stage to clinch the second-seed rankings in the semi-finals of the Antigua Barbuda Softball Cricket Association’s (ABSCA) WTP 93.5 FM Men’s 30-Over Championship on Sunday.

The Buckley’s 3Js snatched a nine-wicket victory against the Dredgers at the Dredgers playing field to finish second behind Rackaman Construction Strictly Business, who claimed the top seed rankings in the semi-finals after ending the preliminary stage at the top of the standings.

The Dredgers were restricted to 118 for eight off 22 overs. Kurt Douglas hit 22, J’Quan Athernaze struck 19, and Loy Weste scored 16.

In reply, the Buckley’s 3Js achieved victory at 121 for one in 13.1 overs. Charanlall Ramjohn hammered an unbeaten 57, which included seven sixes. Denley Thomas cracked 30 not out, and Kenrick Scott scored 24.

Kurt Douglas picked up one for 25 for the Dredgers, who also qualified for the semi-finals as the third seed.

Bryson’s Shipping and Insurance Bullets clinched their last semi-final spot as the fourth seed after pulling off a 35-run victory against PMS in their last preliminary round match at the Powells playing field.

Bullets made 182 for seven off their allotted 30 overs. Tassilo Allen slammed 72, Deran Benta struck 32, and Morrison Browne scored 19. Terence Thompson captured three for 25.

In reply, PMS was dismissed for 148 in 29.2 overs. Kenny Benjamin slammed 40, Shawn Balgobin hit 27, and Clarence Francis made 14. Kimani George picked up two for 16.

Goody’s Taxi Service and Tours 300 crushed Mix Up Stars by 54 runs in their final preliminary round match at the Rising Sun playing field.

Batting first, 300 made 131 for three off 25 overs. Molvin James hit an unbeaten 48, Richard Dyer struck 38, and Veston Lewis scored 22.

In reply, Mix Up Stars crashed to 77 all out in 15.3 overs. Malik Gerald scored 40. Justin Periera snapped up four for 12, Vernel Isadore grabbed four for 21, and Zack Thomas picked up two wickets for six runs.

In the semi-finals, Rackaman Construction Strictly Business will face Bryson’s Shipping and Insurance Bullets, and Marcko Inc. Buckley’s 3Js will clash with the Dredgers.

The semi-finals line-ups have also been decided in the St. John’s Co-operative Credit Union ABSCA’s Women’s 15-Over Championship.

Top seed Alzarri and Sharon Joseph North Sails Antigua Female Flyers will take on fourth seed Bravos Wholesale and Distributors Rockets, and second seed Wayne’s Electrical Services Survivors will clash with third seed Bryson’s Shipping and Insurance Bullets.
